Jessie’s House & Carpet Cleaning

I made an appointment at 9am and had someone to the house by 3pm that same day. I am having new furniture delivered in a few days and decided last minute I wanted to have the carpet in my living room cleaned. My call was answered right away and the team member gave me a price and a time window for the service. The individual arrived, was professional, and cleaned my carpet in an appropriate amount of time. I initially gave 4 stars and because after speaking with a few friends I learned the cost was a bit more than other companies in the area. When I recently checked my bank account I noticed they took an additional $50 without even telling me why. When I called to ask what the additional charge was for, I was hung up on so due to this I would give 2 stars. I still have no clue why I was charged an extra $50 when all I had done was 1 area rug.

I’ve used many cleaning services as well as single housekeepers throughout the years, & struggled to find one who didn’t let quality slip after the first few months. Well, I found them, & they are Jessie’s. I’ve truly never been happier & can’t say enough about the level of detail they reach - my husband even notices (! 😄); the team is always polite, thorough, responsive, thorough, professional, thorough, sweet, thorough...you get the message. They are all the things on your “wish list” & then some! They always want me to check to see if anything was missed or if I want something done differently, but there never is anything missed & nothing ever has to be done differently. From baseboards to the insides of windows (on rotation) - & the insides & outsides of glass doors (!) - to washing down every kitchen cabinet to scrubbing my cooktop to like-new, to reaching every speck of dust, to even washing the glass I left in the sink (!!), my house really does SPARKLE after they’ve been here. Yes, this company is more expensive than others...but after all my decades on earth, I’ve learned that you really do get what you pay for. And with Jessie’s, that’s miles past any other housekeeping company out there. THEY ARE SOOOO WORTH THE PRICE! Oh! They can also do more! They can send someone to clean your carpets, help you move large items, get you ready for a garage sale, pressure wash, and on & on & on. Truly full-service. I can’t say enough good things about them. My dogs even love it when they are here! 😊 If you need your house deep-cleaned & then kept this way, hire Jessie’s & you will very happy you did.

BEWARE!!!! First off, I'm not even sure this company is a legitimate company in that I can't find them anywhere on the Division of Corporations. And after calling the local taxation department, they can't find them either. I hired these guys to clean my carpet and they overwet my carpet. BIG TIME! Within days my carpet started stinking. After a couple of weeks of trying to get a hold of them, I hired a professional mold inspection company to text the carpet and air and they found mold in both. I am currently trying to take them to court but I can't find anything legitimate about their business to be able to file a suit against them. Clearly they have been operating as a business, yet the Division of Corporation doesn't have them listed nor does the taxation department. (Who will be calling you soon, Jessie's!) It's a shame that I even am having to do this b/c I gave them a good opportunity to resolve this. One that consisted of re-cleaning my carpet and reimbursing me for the mold test, since I actually had mold!!!! The inspectors recommend to replace the carpet, fyi. I'm sure they'll list some lie as a response but I'm tell you, stay away from these guys. Move on to the next company.

We have used Jessie for close to 10 years. There has been no reason to search for another cleaning service in Jacksonville. We don't even need to check their work after we come home from work any more. After so many years, we have learned to trust them and expect the same quality of service each time. They have never let us down. Finding quality service is quite challenging, we were referred to Jessie by our neighbors and we're glad we discovered this company. We have referred our family and friends. Jessie has been just outstanding for almost 10 years. We've never had a cleaning service for this long.
