I was somewhat shocked by the behavior of a few staff members of Davis Watkins yesterday. Not once, but twice was I snapped at by a older woman, for doing nothing more than opening a door. Both times, yes, the family was either coming out for the funeral or coming out of the church. Being that I could not see these things happening on the other side of the door, you would think that she would have came off a bit more understanding than rude. That was not the icing on the cake, however; that took place at the cemetery when one of the staff actually told a member of the family that he needed to be quiet and move away from the family. I was within feet of the actual burial area and we did not hear anything that was being said from the uncle of the deceased. That is, until this staff member told him to be quiet. This is not something you tell someone who's watching his four year old nephew be buried. His emotions were all over the place and all this staff member did was cause a disruption. His telling the family member to be quiet caused him to want to leave his own nephews funeral. It was just appalling how it was handled.
I would think that considering the situation, that the company handling the funeral could have been more understanding and less rude in the way these 2 employees handled the situations.
