If anyone ever thinks about adopting a pet, please dont adopt from Good Karma Pet Rescue. They used a vet who botched our puppys spay surgery, which resulted in her insides protruding out. We had two vets state it was the fault of the surgeon, yet the rescue instead of wanting to help our puppy, sent a picture of us holding her on adoption day as proof she was just fine, just to avoid having to deal with the issue. Instead of caring about a puppy in pain. Poor Matilda also has diabetes and cataracts, and no we will not give her back as they have offered. Im saddened and disgusted by the response of an organization that claims to care about animals. We took her to an emergency vet regardless, but their insensitivity was heartbreaking. It took them days to even respond when we first noticed an issue on her belly. These orgs also need to stop taking puppies to bad surgeons. Adoption fees cover it, so please just stop letting these little ones be butchered.
