I have been shopping at bath and body works for years and live their plug ins. It has been 3 times now that my plug in has been faulty and leaked at the bottom and out of the sides yellow goop all over my floor, rug and sink. I have always been able to exchange the faulty product, until today where I was told that they are no longer guaranteed and then had an associate actually blame me for tightening the bulb too tight and making it my fault. These products are incredibly expensive. I will no longer be purchasing them or any other product from your store. Word of mouth is a huge thing and yes, my mouth is pretty big!

I love coming here. I am greeted, but left on my own to shop. It's peaceful. If I ask questions about something, they go the extra mile to open a drawer or hunt the item down for me. I came in looking for birthday scented items for myself for my birthday. I was so thrilled to see all the minis. I definitely will be coming back.

Had an uncomfortable, actually pretty embarrassing encounter with manager Sam yesterday - I have some defective plug-ins I purchased well within the normal 90 days I should have to return per corporate policy, but when I asked if I'd be able to exchange them I was told no. They would need to still be new (how would I know they're defective then?) or returned within "like a week." These all blew between 2-4 weeks after purchasing. When I expressed surprise, not rudely but just wanting to understand if this was the case even if they suddenly stopped working like that, she said very rudely "well they're designed to stop working eventually." I own 25+ plug-ins for various seasons and understand they won't last my lifetime lol but they should work for more than a month?? And if you think this policy can't be right, you'd be wrong apparently! I reached out to customer service who advised that while corporate policy dictates up to 90 days to return defective items, execution of this policy is 100% up to the store you visit. Apparently this company can sell defective products, purchased directly from the website and shipped to your home, and you as the consumer would need to drive around from store to store just crossing your fingers that one of them will give you your money back or exchange the defective product. I've been a customer for well over a decade but don't love feeling like I'm gambling with my money on what should be a reliable transaction of consumer goods.
