Very poor management! Planned a family vacation with wife, Mother and Dad. Dad is 95 World War II and Korean War Veteran. After we booked, we found out that they did not have an elevator for father in law who is in a wheel chair. We tried all day( over 7 - & hours) to get day Manager to call us back to be able to refund deposit so that we wouldn’t loose $2,000.00 as they said that we would loose. Finally the day manager left without helping us and after a 1.5 hour wait, the night manager tells us to go ahead and head that way, that they have a 3 bedroom on the beach room with elevator. We were in Alabama - 12.5 hours away. We drive all day, about 10 minutes before we arrive, the night manager calls us and asks us if we were still coming, we tell him that we are 10 minutes away and he then informs us that there was something wrong with the electricity and that the rooms that we had booked, that the air conditioning wasn’t working and that they were going to put us in a room just for the one night and that they would move us the next day, unless we decided that we liked the room( Ha, Ha) Long story short, I didn’t believe him, they put us in a dump room. I was up at 8:00 and at the office to talk with the Manager, They had somehow given someone else our room and had no more rooms for us, so we left back home. As we could not find a place to stay other than hotel room and we siding want to spend our vacation in a hotel room with no view for my 95 year old Father in law. What a waste of two day’s travels…….Never in our lives have we witnessed such back customer service. We have been vacationing here for years. Never again!
