Wonderful place to rest, relax, & enjoy a historic old home!

We've stayed here several times, and have really enjoyed it. The proprietor, Kayd, is super nice. It's a little off the main streets, so less traffic noise than some of the other places in the area. Feeling of a B&B as it is a quaint old house, but no breakfast. Shared kitchen with all the standard amenities, so you can prepare meals if you want. The "Queen" room is one of our favorites as it has its own bath and a separate sitting room. Within a block or three of ten to fifteen places to eat and ten or so bars (several of which are oyster bars). Lots of great little eclectic shops just a block or two away. Lots of historic places to see. Just a few minutes drive from beautiful St George's Island, beach and National seashore.

The loft is a romantic, wonderful room. We are here for a 50k race, and KD has been wonderful. We're definitely planning on coming back.

Wonderful! Quiet, off main road. But walking distance to downtown. Museums, restaurants, shopping, Riverfront Park with view of Apalachicola River. Lovely.
