image Never had a bad experience with the Aatish fam (tho I only ordered takeout). Food was consistently delicious and arrived HOT. Garlic naan was good, mango lassi was great, chicken tikka and lamb vindaloo were my go-to solid dishes. Vegetable pakora slapped. Always left satisfied. Best part is that food always showed up fast. If you live in the area youll see the Aatish cars whipping around speedily. I like that they have their own delivery service.

image Most of the time when I eat out I go to Indian/ Pakistani restaurants. This particular establishment is charging premium but serves like a food truck. They dont itemize the bill so, they will overcharge for example, a dish might be $20 on their menu but when the bill comes it will magically become $23. I am not sure what is going on with their AC system but in the summer it is really hot in there. I know they have to make a living but their customers deserve better. If they want to charge premium value they should upgrade their menu, you cant sell a $15 meal for $28. Please honor your menu pricing and dont overcharge, itemize your bill. No wonder they have very few customers on the weekends or evenings because if you go here once you will not return in the future

image My husband and I want to like this place because we love Indian food, it's near our home, and it has been around for a long time. However, it is an awkward experience every time we go.
The decor is confusing (white tablecloths and stemmed glasses paired with outdated china, old chairs too low for the table, and dirty carpet), and the restaurant is eerily quiet except for conversations coming from the kitchen.
The staff seems inexperienced and/or disinterested. The servers bring your food and occasionally fill your empty glasses, but they otherwise spend their time standing around in the back. This visit, the server was nice but kept asking us if we wanted drinks or desserts, and it felt like she was trying to make a big of a sale as possible on the only table in the restaurant.
The food was okay. We ordered vegetable biryani, aloo gobi, dal, naan, and paratha. None of it tasted better than our home-cooked versions, unfortunately. I did like the naan, but I'm not going back just for a $5 piece of bread. With tip, the meal cost $80. There was another entree we wanted to try another time, but I don't know we'll be back any time soon.
I wish the restaurant owner and staff well. I want them to succeed, but they'll need to step up their game if they want to compete with all the excellent restaurants in the neighborhood.
