This review applies to the store's representative for quartz counter tops. A visit to the store about decking with "Glenn" (an excellent rep) encouraged me to ask about counter tops at the store. The rep first told me that since I had Formica tops, which are "thicker than quartz," I would have to have someone build up all my cabinets before installation. Strange, but . . . okay. Next, he told me the price per sq ft varies from $70 to $85, depending on which supplier I chose (Zodiac or Cambria). Although he had sample displays and I inquired about which was which, he said I really needed to go to Wallingford to the supplier to see slabs and handed me brochures. He seemed impatient to be done. I left, promising to send him the measurements of my counter tops. I did that two weeks later so that he could calculate square footage and figure in a back splash of varying hgt. I had NOT chosen a supplier or color. He emailed back with a quote that was from $87 to $99 sq ft for 38 sq ft. When I reminded him that he had quoted $70 to $85, he said, "Well, everyone expects the $70 price," and that he was only off by $2 -- the high end of the range he had told me. (Huh ?!!) When I asked about seeing samples at the supplier's in Wallingford, he told me that I wouldn't be able to see much there. (?) Scratch Lyon and Billard. I went to IKEA, whose rep calculated the square footage with an online program (which my estimator/contractor husband verified) at 29 sq ft, not 38, and said there was no reason to build up the cabinets for a 1/4 inch difference. Take away: for some reason this salesperson was clearly not interested in my business. A disappointing experience.

Went to the showroom to pick out Crown, Baseboard, and Window moldings for our renovation. Spoke with Bob Lamy whom was very informative and helpful. Went home and made a final decision on the moldings once my contractor measured everything. I emailed bob with all the dimensions and moldings that we wanted and he responded within minutes and everything was ordered. Deliver was very cheap and made it to our house within 2 days of ordering!! Moldings were in pretty good shape, primed but, needed a quick sanding before paint. Much better and about the the same price of Home Depot and Lowes without all the damaged pieces. I highly recommend!
