Ferazzoli Imports/Genrose/Galleria Stone and Tile supplied and fabricated Honed Black Storm Granite with a Satinstone finish for my kitchen, and it was installed by Paul White Tile in Portland ME. Early on, it became obvious that the countertop was badly scratching and chipping around the sink (see photo) to such a degree that I wondered if it was truly granite. I've had kitchens with honed absolute black granite, polished rosa beta granite and super white quartzite and have never experienced any of these issues. I reached out to Ferazzoli and was told it was normal wear and tear and that there was nothing they could do. I called and emailed and sent photos over a period of months and was totally brushed off (calls were not returned and eventually I was lied to (told that they had reached out to Paul White Tile with a solution). I have never resorted to publishing negative reviews on line regarding any product, but this has been so incredibly disappointing and infuriating that I decided to so so. This is not an installation problem--it's defective product problem.
