We had John Duffy over to discuss a leaky ceiling. He said he wanted to open the ceiling. I said sure that we knew that was going to be necessary. I then sent him plans and photos to show the history of attempted repairs that failed. He asked, can I bring another guy to take a look. The next day he had moved all my furniture and torn down the ceiling. No contract, no discussion, no proof of insurance. We told him stop work and never do any work without written permission and pricing. He complained "we had an understanding." We met again, I outlined the work I wanted, in writing and he sent emails to me and my husband asking our opinions without copying the other.He then complained we were disorganized and he didn't want the job.BEWARE
