Mimi's Cafe

I hate giving such a bad score, but this one is really warranted. On a whim during a snow storm our family's decided to go out. We went to Mimis at the Orchard and had a terrible experience. We had a big group and ordered a lot of different items. Most came out inedible aside from the breakfast items. We ordered 2 steaks so bad I wouldn't feed to a hungry dog. The waiter was rude about it, to be fair it had been happening at other tables around ours. The chef came out and tried to say the steak should have that much fat on it. Terrible experience all around.

When I arrived at the restaurant to pick up the meal, the restaurant waiter told me that I had to wait 30 minutes and order at 6:05 in the evening. I arrived at the restaurant at 6:30. The restaurant means that it takes 55 minutes to prepare a snack. It’s just a joke. Is this slow preparation of food a joke? Waiting for food in a delicious wait makes every guest feel odorless.

We visited Mimi's Bistro + Bakery on a Sunday during January 2020 for Brunch. Initially I was reluctant to visit this location due to prior poor reviews, however, our party was pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. The food was tasty, the restaurant was clean, and everyone was helpful, and friendly. Our server, Tim, was personable and efficient. We really enjoyed our visit to Mimi's at The Orchard Town Center and will visit again. Good job, on the turn around, management.
