0 stars if I could do it! This company installed my furnace about a year ago. We had it inspected by another company recently; they found 2 leaks. They fixed one leak during the inspection but the other would cost $200 to fix. I called Grandview Heating and Cooling and Corey said he would be out to fix it. He gave me a 4 hour window, during which I waited while he never showed up or called. I called back and he never returned my call. I called again and he answered and said "I'll call you back in 5 minutes when I get to my office." and then never called. This place is not only incompetent, it is unethical.

We are so fortunate to have found a company that truly values the customer. I’ve worked in the service industry for 27 years, and it’s encouraging to see people like Kory, Tucker and the whole team at Grandview. We had our AC blower motor break down on a 3 yr old furnace, and Kory first offered to come out at 10pm at night to look at it. Instead, Tucker came out the following morning and diagnosed the problem. After a series of unfortunate events related to the shipping of the motor, Tucker was at my house at 5:30pm on a Friday night, new shiny motor in hand! He installed the new motor, and we were cool as cucumbers a few hours later. If you are scrolling through reviews of different HVAC companies, you need not scroll any more. Call Kory today; heck, call him at 11pm tonight! Chances are he’ll answer!

I had Grandview come out and do an annual inspection on my furnace and AC unit. We were told the AC unit was leaking on to the furnace and that a replacement coil for $3000 or a new AC unit for $7000 was required. I decided to get a second and third opinion from a couple other companies and both companies agreed that there was no leak, the unit was running fine, and that some companies (like Grandview in this case) use coolant leaks as a scheme to bring in more business. Either way, I am thoroughly disappointed in this type of business practice and hope this review persuades others to look elsewhere. Edit: Just to clarify, this is my wife and I’s property that we own but the work order was under her name. Also, to any readers, I wholeheartedly expect you to make your own decision based off of mine and everyone else’s review, but regardless of the response from Grandview, there was no leak and it was certainly quoted for one. Thankfully, I went with another company.

I rarely answer calls from unknown numbers, but happened to answer the cold call from Brook. She was nice and I ended up having Jim and Mark come out and give me a quote. The only reason they did rate a 5 was the fact that their communications with me weren't very good or accurate. They promised me an Amana, I got a Goodman. They said they'd be there at a certain time and had to cancel. They said they would email me an updated quote and information about their insurance and bonding, I got nothing. The bright side is that their installer, Matt, was a pro. He did the work including the removal of our 1977 Lennox furnace. His workmanship on the new furnace and ducts was excellent. He also installed two ball valves and that work was also done well. The only minor downside was he forgot to relight the hot water heater. A cold shower once in a while isn't so bad. Cheers and thanks.

I would give this company no stars if I could. HORRIBLE!!!!! Somehow this company got my husband’s Minnesota-based cell phone number and sold him on an A/C tuneup claiming that they had been out in the fall to service our furnace. Total lie as we used Done Plumbing & Heating (who were wonderful, by the way), but my husband didn’t remember. So this company sent out a guy who cleans the unit and says we really need this coil serviced and it would cost $799 including three years of service thereafter. We declined and an hour after the service guy left, our house started getting really warm. Our AC didn’t work!!! Turns out he “forgot” to turn the AC unit breaker back on - we only found out because we called Done out to fix it. They were so kind that they didn’t even charge us to clean up after the terrible service from Grandview. Don’t bother with this company...
