Epilog Laser - Global Headquarters

I used to love epilog. I've used many of their machines over the last 20 years and do believe they make good machines. However their sales and service is very bad now. When your machine is down and you need help you can't get service. It took me over a week last time I had an issue to get back up and running. I finally decided to purchase another machine for backup and overflow and I couldn't get a sales person on the phone. Nobody at their headquarters or sales distribution center will call me back. So I have made the decision to move on to another Company that I can rely on.

Forget about their customer support when you need them. They seem to have one field technician for the whole country who never return calls. Call up the main office and they reffer you to the same person over and over again....good, if he returns your call. Will be purchasing another brand for sure this year, something that works well with windows 10 and 11. Laser is great when it works, if you can live with it working 75 percent of the time in the heat of production with no one to turn to.

I was very excited to bring a laser cutter to our school and was under the impression that Epilog had the very best hardware and support. We toured the facility and was very impressed by the hardware that we purchased a brand new FusionPro32 with the rotary attachment. We've had the machine since August 9th and the fusionpro has had some very successful cuts and etches but the rotary attachment has not worked properly from the beginning. We do love the FusionPro32 but wanted to warn others to be cautious about purchasing Epilogs newer hardware because it was not communicated that we would be receiving a laser cutter that is essentially still in beta. Edit* for updating firmware and making the machine great!

Horrible support. We bought a machine January 2019 and ended up returning it by September 2019. The machine was down more than it worked. The way you have to go about buying these machines from limited sales people was a horrible to start to a horrible experience. We ended up in a legal battle to get out of the lease and only were partially refunded for all the money we spent on a broken laser. We are now moving on to Trotec.
