I waited half a day at home for my technician only to be cancelled on. Then I was rescheduled 3 weeks later and could not cancel online. I had to spend another hour of my time on the phone to cancel. This was so unnecessary. It's 2024, I should be able to do all of this online. This was such a time suck for a repair that took a local company less than 20 minutes to actually fix.

I missed an entire day of work because a reasonable time slot cannot be provided. I received text messages regarding the appointment date and name of the technician. I received updates when he was 2 stops away and 1 stop away as well as his expected arrival time. Then, I received a text message indicating the technician had arrived followed by a request to provide a review. After waiting 9 hours, NO TECHINICIAN ARRIVED AT MY HOME. So I called Sears Home Repair, the company that assigned A&E to complete the repair. It is extremely difficult to talk to an actual person, and I was disconnected several times. I was told that my appointment could not be verified or located despite providing the order number and having received numerous text messages regarding the appointment. Another appointment was set for two weeks out. I give them 0 stars!

Not my choice to use this company, for good reason. American Home Shield dispatched them to my rental property to look at a dryer. The technician said it needed new parts and that he would order them. I received an email that same day saying the parts were on order and they would be delivered to my property and the unit repaired approximately one month later. Around the time of that anticipated date, I had to leave the state for a family emergency. I was gone for about two weeks. When I returned, I saw my tenant and asked about the dryer. She relayed it had still not been fixed.I contacted customer service at Sears and was informed that the job had been canceled weeks prior because parts are no longer available. Sears did not notify me, nor did they notify American Home Shield. I have been paying for a rental dryer for about five weeks now. If Sears wouldve notified American Home Shield in a timely manner, I would have a new dryer by now. Again this is not my first issue with this company, they are unreliable and undependable.
