I received a letter from Jeep (Safety Recall) concerning the Front Control Arm to Steering Knuckle Pinch Bolts. I called Arapahoe Jeep ASAP as the letter says " IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO TAKE STEPS NOW TO REPAIR YOUR VEHICLE TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF YOU AND YOUR PASSENGERS!! A loss of clamp load may result in the UCA separating from the knuckle and the wheel falling outboard, WHICH CAN CAUSE A VEHICLE CRASH WITHOUT WARNING" The gal that answered in the "service dept" was oblivious to this AND NO HELP AT ALL. She said she would check and for me to hold. After a few minutes she came back on the line and said, she could not find any information on this or when they would start ordering parts for Jeep GC owner's to bring in their Jeeps to get this done. No matter what I asked, she was CLUELESS. I told her the wheel can literally fall off at 75 MPH and that's a very serious matter that could result in death. Did not matter, she was clueless and offered me NO HELP at all. I then called Castlerock Jeep and Sabrina in service was like a breath of fresh air. She immediately ordered the part and said as soon as it came in she would call me so I can get the Jeep in. She even said she would check in a few days to make sure it was on it's way. WOW, what a difference in customer service and caring for the safety of their customers. I will NEVER EVER buy a car at Arapahoe Jeep again!!!!!
