Jay Hwangs State Farm Insurance Agency helped me work through a difficult situation. My mother, 86 years old, owned a house in Durango that my beloved brother lived in. Very unexpectedly and sadly, my brother passed away. Unfortunately, he had received but not taken care of a notice from State Farm last July that he needed to do some work on the property and exterior of the house before State Farm could renew the policy. I began working with Crystal Fausto at Jay Hwangs Agency to rectify this. Crystal was so kind and compassionate about the loss of my brother and helping through the challenge of living in TX and not in Durango. She always responded nicely to the many emails I sent to her over the last five months. She had to endure my persistence and make sense of numerous emails with photos/videos of the home improvements. Today, she notified me that the underwriter has approved the changes we have made and the policy will be reinstated. THIS IS HUGE FOR ME AND MY MOTHER TO GET THIS DONE!!.
