My Father doesn’t ‘do sushi’ but joined us for the eating adventure. He ordered the Yakiniku Dinner which is a spicier version of teriyaki. He said it was the best Salmon he has ever had. Thanks to the Hapa chefs for a great dinner and to our server, Megan, who provided ‘spot on’ sushi suggestions.

Never order from them to go or pick up. I’ve never had a problem with other sushi joints picking up or delivery. Okinawa and Fontana are half the price and just as good. Never had an issue picking up or getting delivery from them. I spent nearly $75 and it was terrible. I like Hapa in person and wanted to order it in, as I do time to time with good sushi joints and was very disappointed. Tempura was soggy, the glasshouse roll had cold butter on the side and even when warming it up, disgusting. The organism roll was falling apart and hardly edible. Never order delivery or pick up from them.

Read the menu VERY carefully. Do not assume the ingredients you are used to are the ingredients they use. They are the only sushi place I've ever been to that gave me Philadelphia roll and insisted it was an Alaskan. I've never ever had an Alaskan roll with cream cheese. The server made a point of showing me the menu and low and behold... Their version of an Alaskan roll is made with cream cheese instead of avacado. I didn't have my reading glasses and incorrectly ASSumed my familiar favorites would be safe. So study the menu before you order and make sure your classic favorite will be prepared how you expect. Also... The tables for two are so tiny, you might have to hold your plate on your lap.
