After spending hours researching the chemicals that go into making mattresses nowadays, I knew I didn't want to subject my good health to them. I try to eat healthy food, manage stress, exercise  and get enough sleep...but the thought of spending a third of my life in bed breathing chemical vapors was keeping me awake at night. We looked at all the local chain mattress and airbed stores  but couldn't find anything that met our standards. Then we found Urban Mattress. We bought a Harbor Plush organic talalay latex mattress and it has been pure heaven. I can sleep on my back, side or stomach and wake up pain free! I had such a great experience with this product and with Stephen Lewis at the Glendale/Cherry Creek Urban Mattress store that I decided to purchase another bed for my father after hip surgery. There were no high pressure sales tactics and Stephen was truly interested in helping me find what I needed. It was delivered and set up in the promised time frame in a  professional manner. He couldn't be happier.

I will fully admit that I didn't discover Urban Mattress on my own, I was referred by a friend. However, within 10 minutes of being in the store, I was sold on the place. The sales rep Stephen is a friendly guy who wants to put you with the right product on your own timeline. You tell him a little about what you want and where your price range is, and he will start laying out some options. The actual shopping process was almost too fast. I settled on a mattress within the first few minutes, and then realized that I was about to miss out on some of the other amenities offered at Urban Mattress including free craft beer and chocolates. I chatted with Stephen for a while as I sipped my stout, and he offered some tips on living in Denver. He even entertained my request to see the "Cadillac of mattresses", and was happy to hang out while I lounged on some of the more expensive options. The delivery was easy and the guys who brought it over were really nice, and took the mattress right up to the room. Hopefully I wont be buying another mattress anytime soon, but i'll definitely be sending friends to Urban Mattress.

We've been shopping online and in stores for months for mattresses for our two guest beds. We didn't want to spend a fortune but we also didn't want our guests to be uncomfortable. We were fairly certain we were going to go with mattresses on Amazon that got good reviews but we were passing by Urban Mattress today and thought we'd stop in just to see. Stephen was helping another customer when we walked in but took the time to walk up to us and let us know that he would be with us when he was finished. He didn't yell across the store or ignore us completely. He spent a good 2 hours with us (1.5 of which was after hours), answering all our questions and helping us come to a decision. We ended up walking away with not just both our queen guest beds but a new king bed for us as well just because we had such a good experience and loved the mattress so much! We are so grateful for Stephen and Mattress Firm!
