        This was my first visit this time. Given the nature of my wound and the pain I'm experiencing, I would say they gave me the best care and with remarkably less pain than I anticipated. I had been a patient at this clinic back in 2018 and received excellent care for multiple abdominal wounds. The doctor I had was different, but extremely capable and a wonderful doctor and person as well as Dr. Hovenga and the many nurses who attended me. This staff knows what they're doing and I felt well cared for and felt the kindness there.

        I have a severe dog bite wound. I was very afraid going to my first appointment at the UC Health Wound Care Clinic because I didn't know what was going to happen. As cleaning the wound was unpleasant the staff there that treated me were So Nice and Compassionate! They helped me understand my wound and how to care for it at home. They listened and answered all my questions. Made me feel at ease. Would definitely recommend the UC Health Care Clinic to Anyone that needs care.
