Honestly? I've been at this school at the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year. I have noticed quite a few things, if you aren't outgoing or conventionally attractive at the beginning of either semester, good luck making friends. I didn't. Even then, many of the people here are the sort of people who would talk badly about you behind your back for an ego rush. The teachers are either there just for the lackluster pay, or in just ONE of my classes, actually care about the students and how they are doing. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this public high school for kids that tend to be more reserved and antisocial, there's a decent chance you will not make friends. I have been ridiculed right next to me by people who I don't know, been made fun of behind my back by classmates, and much more isolating behavior from other students. Don't come here unless you're social, attractive and want to join a club, this school will destroy you. Unfortunately, the classes suck most of the time.

Only reason this has 1 instead of zero is the legendary principle Mr. Gardner and a few teachers that care. This is not a school to send your kids to if you want them to have a good future. Sports is where the big issue where the staff and school as a whole turn a blind eye away from. Football especially, from getting away with doing drugs and drinking and having grades not being rightly changed for eligibility reasons, to rape at parties, the school turns a blind eye and SUPPORTS athletes over any other of the student body. I can go on and on about that but there is also the teachers who do not show interest in students, nor their jobs and just take it out on the students. Also, school dances, if you have a daughter that wants to go to one just know it's basically like a strip club for minors, especially homecoming, where blunts are passed around in the "grind circle". Overall the school needs to rebuild from the ground up. They have the right principle but need to start from the ground up everywhere else
