Hotel room we initially given was disgusting. grime everywhere. electrical outlets looked dodgy. No deadbolt on door. changed room to suite, marginally better

Well, they need to open the lobby guest have no place to sit if waiting register only thru side window. Where was the breakfast as indicated.

this broke our hearts. we used to come up here a lot (my husband's grandparents lived & are buried nearvy, as is his mom) and we used to come here a lot, together on our Harley or solo. was fun to sit around the pool & bond with guests across the way, but that'll never be the case again. "Victor" seemed put out by our arrival, to start. a truck was parked outside our room and our patio chairs had someone else's stuff on them. the room smelled like mildew, the bathroom like urine. our screen was out of our window & we found out the window didn't lock open. closet was gross & filthy, as was bath surfaces like floor, toilet & under-sink area. furniture hasn't been updated in 15 years! no outlets to use, no USB plugs.. did I mention the smell? we went up front to ask about getting a cleaner room. was told it'd be $20 more...for a CLEAN ROOM! WTH?? we left & stopped at JT Memorial Park before driving into Cypress that same night. we were so grossed out & disappointed that the place hasn't been updated (or even cleaned!) in 20+ years, we had to leave. don't stop... RUN past this pit on your way to better places to stay. this place is ridiculously bad. 3⭐ my bu+=!

Very large rooms. Nice pool. Carpet was a little dirty.
