        Great place to stay after a day driving, hiking in Joshua tree national park. Friendly staff and a well decorated room, warm design. Totally different from other places we stayed overnight. TV operates with one click, coffee tastes great and beds are comfy. One issue about the bathroom. Need to adjust how to insert new roll of toilet paper. See picture. In total a 5-star rating Have a good day!

        Staff and owner were very friendly and attentive. Kept the room and lobby clean and tidy. Great price for a simple good place to get a good night sleep after a long day in Joshua Tree National Park.

        Rooms: All of the rooms have been updated. There is no carpet and a new laminate wood floor. The bedding is new and very attractive. The towels are new as well. Nothing is fancy, but it is clean and safe. The beds were very comfortable. Nearby activities: Joshua tree national Park is just up the road. And Palm Springs and Desert Hot Springs. Very close. Safety: When I stay in a two star hotel, I am always worried that it will be in a sketchy area. The Super Eight is well lit and bright in the middle of other shopping centers. I passed many hotels that I considered staying in on the way to the Super Eight and I was so glad I didnt book any of them. When I arrived at the super eight I was relieved. It is not sketchy, well lit, parking lot, and a very confident and friendly manager at the desk waiting.
