Hospital outsources medical transports to Uber/Lyft drivers. They dont disclose this to drivers, never tip and are consistently late bringing patients/riders to vehicle.

I had the most wonderful experience at Whittier hospital. Hands up and much praise to the staff in surgery all were respectful professional and friendly. I highly recommend this hospital to everyone.

My husbands call light had been on for 30 minutes. I finally asked an aide I saw in the hall to find our nurse. When he came, he said they dont answer call lights, because most of them are broken. So there is no way for patients to call for help.

The Motel 6 of Hospitals in this Area. Uncontrolled staff in the ER. A supervisor verbally insulting staff ..in front of patients. Come to find out latter..she was some time of Supervisor..who came to see me to try to explain why she speaks like that to staff... Broken equipment...paper run out of a EKG machine..no one knew how to refill it...so 1 machine was being passed in between patients. Saw the Doctor assigned to the ER for about 5 mins.........several hours later I'm told I'm being admitted by a nurse..no explanation from a doctor... regarding my health and why I was being admitted? Get taken to a Room 216.. I pulled down the sheets to get in bed....dirty sheets..showed the nurses aid..and she changed the bedding... Now I get into a bed..cracked plastic around the buttons to adjust the bed..next morning after 9, I ask the nurse when is breakfast..apparently it had been sitting in the hallway, get a ice cold breakfast of scrambled eggs, toast, solid cold clumb of cream of wheat? Still no doctor? Then I'm told thier is no assigned Cardiologist on duty period... I have to wait until When they feel like coming in ! So is that 2 days from now..3..4...?? Terrible experience!!! **** Follow up*** they Billed my insurance for a Intensive Care Unit....I was Never in a Intensive Care Unit !!!! GO any where But not Here !!

Maternity / Delivery PT.
I had just delivered my daughter here & my nurses were great! Thank you Kimberly, Ashley, Katherine, Tiffany, and Angela for caring for my sweet little girl and I. Everyone was very caring, and making sure I was comfortable the entire time.
My delivery doctor was even better. Thank you Dr.Vouis.
