Dr. Xuanyu Lu, DDS, MSD, Ph.D Is so rude and unprofessional. He treats his staff poorly and has no respect for his child clients and parents.

The doctors here are great, and most of the other staff is great too, but we had a very bad experience with the ortho staff. We asked to cancel service, as we moved out of the area and could no get to their office on a Wednesday for services. We were told we could cancel, and that our next appointment my son would be able to get his braces taken off. After noticing that they were still taking payments from me I called to find out what was happening. The nurse was incredibly rude and lied saying I told her I wanted to put service on hold, not cancel. She said they couldn't refund the amount already taken, then began to try to gaslight me into saying I agreed to put in on hold and that we just walked out, which was not the case. Nobody told us to schedule anything as we were leaving, and I definitely did not say to put service on hold as we live far away now and cannot make their hours. The unprofessionalism I encountered with this member of staff is astounding. Even if we were still in the area, I would no longer be taking my children to their office. It's disgusting when staff members will outright lie to cover their admin errors. I do not recommend this place, at least not for orthodontics.

This is the best pediatric dentistry. They have provided great service and care for my kids.

My 11 month old went here for her first appointment and she felt so comfortable! The other children she could see in chairs was beneficial for her and the whole staff was very friendly, informative, and gentle. Such a great first experience and my daughter will trust that dentistry isnt something to fear! I couldnt be more pleased. Thank you Dr. Shiflett and staff!
