My partner and I have used Mrs. Mende's twice now, once for a Civil Harassment from a neighbor and once for a restraining order case. Both times Mrs. Mendes made the process so much better. She sent one letter and we haven't been harassed in over a year by the neighbor. We wanted someone that would be sensitive to the homophobic nature of the harassment and she handled the entire thing perfectly. We can't recommend her or her staff enough.

I cannot begin to tell you how terrible my experience was with Lisa Mendes. It was my 1st time hiring an attorney and I cried after the case was over and felt so helpless and hopeless. She knew I was vulnerable and didn’t know anything about court or family law. These are people who are supposed to help you fight your case. I lost my case and to make matters worse, there was a conflict of interest with the opposing attorney. Apparently they knew each other. Please make sure you have a good sense of feeling about your attorney before paying them all your savings. MaKe sure all your questions and concerns are answered and not rushed. Are they truly explaining the case to you for you to understand? There’s a lot of legal lingo you won’t know but this should be explained, if you have a good attorney😉 Do they really have your best interest at heart? Unfortunately in my case, I was doomed to begin with.

for not even 2 months of work on my case, $22500 in fees. They made is seem like they did so much work and it was such a basic case. Charged for things double triple times, because none of them even knew the status of my case at any time. Even opposing counsel mentioned they had know idea what they were doing especially with billing. Got no retainer back which I thought was illegal?? Also got charged for trust account replenishment which is NOT a bill I thought it was for work not yet done ?? Gave horrible legal advice which would have made a huge difference in my case if I listened to them. So glad i let them go
