The ladies that work here are some of the most rude people I have ever met - I'm not sure if they think they're being funny or if they're actually serious. Not only was I patronized for where I was moving to (despite the fact that they live in... Stockton?!) but after having the worst experience ever with uhaul when they asked me if I wanted to add the $14 insurance I told them only if the fee was waived considering my experience, they rudely responded with: "Ugh, you've had enough discounts already!" First off - I was moving from Santa Clara. I was supposed to pick up my truck one mile away from the house in Santa Clara. Uhaul changed the location to Pleasanton without even informing me. The only reason I even knew was because the Santa Clara location was supposed to call me the day prior to my pick-up and when they didn't, I called them three times, left a VM and got no answer or return. I finally went online to see if I had the wrong number and they had completely changed the pick up location. After calling to complain that they changed my pick up location to 30 miles away they told me that actually the person who was supposed to return the truck to Pleasanton returned it to Stockton instead. Stockton... 85 miles away from where I was moving from. They didn't offer to have the truck delivered to a closer location, instead I had to waste gas in my personal car driving to and from Stockton AND I had to pay for the gas in the Uhaul to get it from Stockton to Santa Clara. They dropped the price by 50%, but the cost was still essentially the same if you take into consideration my car's gas and paying to drive the Uhaul from Stockton to Santa Clara. Overall my experience with Uhaul was awful - The ladies at this location just made it that much worse.
