Union Bank

I will not be using this branch anymore because of the blonde male who works as a teller. He is always rude and passive aggressive.  I went in today to make a large deposit and purposely used the self help atm so I wouldn't have to deal with him. I was helped by Ashley. She was wonderful and patient. The blonde male decided to leave his desk and come over and make a rude comment to me about how many checks I deposited (8). I'm not sure why he needed to go out of his way to be mean to me. I told Ashley thank you for her help but I will not be going to the branch anymore and I will use the one on Tapo st.

The ambiance in Union Bank on Tapo Street is like no other bank.  You feel it as soon as you enter, when they greet you with a sincere, warm greeting.  They conduct business professionally, but their demeanor is so friendly and relaxed, it's like talking to your neighbors.When my husband and I went for our second visit, he asked if i checked to see if the banker John Green was in.  I said No, it didn't matter because they are ALL nice.  Sure enough, the branch manager Francisco Pesantez took care of the two issues that I had, with great ease and patience.

Worse banking experience ever. I was a customer for 20 years. I went to Union because I owned a Corporation and was guaranteed my business finances would be in a good institution. Over 100K a year of my hard earned money flowed thru their branch. Several months ago I had fraud perpetrated on my Corporate account (and NOT a minor amount of $). I immediately met with the business bank officer and filed a formal report and fraud claim. Several weeks later I received a letter for Union Bank telling me they could not help me because I was a business. What the heck?? I closed all of my accounts and moved my monies. Please save your business and your hard earned money. Do not bank with Union.

Please stop playing games with my husband's account. It's bad enough that you cost me a place to live, now you can do whatever you want with people's accounts so they can't pay their bills? Knock it off.

The Union Bank on L.A. Ave. in Simi Valley is the worst bank I've ever had the misfortune of banking at.  Not only are you ignored while waiting in line as the tellers chit chat and don't even look up and acknowledge the long line of people patiently waiting, they have consistently screwed up my mortgage payments at least 4 times (one time even applying it to another person's account!).  I went in there last month and after waiting in the very long line, I finally got to the front and a lady came out from a cubicle and asked the elderly lady behind me how she could help her in Spanish. The woman replied and was led away back to her desk to be helped. The rest of us in line all wondered what we had to do to be helped? When I was finally called up to the teller up front I specifically told him that I was making an extra payment so that he would understand how to do it. He said he understood. I just got my statement in the mail and he applied the extra payment to the following month, which was exactly what I didn't want to happen. People need training at this bank and some basic understanding of how to treat customers.
