I have a 2200 sf home in Roseville that is 19 years old, so I decided to replace my HVAC system. Scott and Alpine were referred to me by my parents, for whom Alpine replaced an HVAC system about 7 years ago. Since they were very happy with the work Alpine did, I gave Scott a call. We spent a lot of time on the phone discussing what I had, and he had several suggestions... including giving me the name of a local HVAC company (Alpine is about an hour away). After getting quotes from a large national company and a couple local companies (including the one Scott recommended), Scott and Josh drove the hour to scope out my system and provided the best option and price. The following week a team of 3 spent 3 days replacing my system, and they did an excellent job. You can tell they take pride in their work. While the old system did its job for 19 years, the unit in the attic looked like it was put together hastily... a lot of tape, a drip line that wasn't connected, and ductwork that you had to climb over and under to get to the unit. Not only does the unit look nice, but they moved a lot of the ductwork so you can easily get to the unit. They also put another AC pad under the new outside AC unit, effectively raising it so it sits above the ground (the old AC unit sat flush with the ground, so bark and dirt got into the grill). Another thing I was happy with... the other companies said they needed to run a new refrigerant line from the new AC unit up the outside of my home to the attic, but Alpine was able to flush out the old line and use it. Oh, and they also put in a whole house fan. I've had the system for a week now and the furnace is so quiet I don't even know it's on unless I'm in the room the unit sits directly above. And although I don't expect to use the AC for a few months, it was tested during the install and is so much quieter... you can have a conversation while standing next to it when running. So I highly recommend Scott and Alpine Heating and Air Conditioning of Shingle Springs for your HVAC needs.

ALPINE HVAC - Shingle Springs I needed my heater serviced and it also decided to quit just at the time it got cold. I had read reviews of several HVAC companys in our local area and Alpine Heating had 5*. I was able to get an appointment about 5 days later (they are busy). Two servicemen came out, very professional, and took a look at my "old" unit. (25 yrs?). Rather than trying to sell me a new unit, they worked and worked at all the fixes someone did prior to me buying this house. They were here over 2 hours and had the problem resolved. Yeaaaaa. No extra charge which I would have been happy to pay at that time to get warm again. I would definitely recommend and use them again. Thanks guys! We wanted to replace our entire system and keep our business local, so a friend recommended Alpine Heating and Air. We needed to add exhausted fans in the bathrooms, a whole house fan, and an attic fan too. We got an estimate from a bigger company, but they just gave us a total without breaking down the costs for each part of the job. Scott from Alpine on the other hand, thoroughly explained the different options and sent an estimate that itemized the work and provided three different options for the main unit price. All of which were a better value than the first estimate we got. We went with Alpine and we're glad we did. Scott stayed in consistent contact in the time leading up to the job, so we always knew where we were in the cue. Josh and Darren were the crew who did most of the work and they were real pros. They arrived on time, cleaned up at the end of the day, and respected our request to wear masks while in the house during the four days it took to get it all done. Weve been testing everything out for the last few days and were thrilled with the new system. The outside unit is so quiet my neighbor suggested he should throw some money in on the project. There were a few hiccups along the way, but Scott knows how to run his business, so we wouldnt hesitate to recommend Alpine Heating and Air to anyone who wants to be comfortable in their home.

Our home is 25+ years old, it has two heating and air conditioner systems. We had attempted to do some maintenance and ended up with one a Frankenstein system (heating and air top floor) and another partially functional (heating and air lower floors) system. It was a mess. We called Scott, he visited with us, took his time and evaluated what we had and what we wanted. We felt a sense of confidence with Scott and after evaluating 3 additional providers we selected Alpine Heating & Air Conditioning. Scott's staff are amazing, the didn't mess around, they rebuilt two systems, taking time to understand the air flows in the home and correcting issues caused by years of neglect and original installation. We had one adventure during the rebuild, one of the furnaces was apparently home to a few hundred (maybe more) wasps, the guys did not panic, just sent us out to purchase a few wasp bombs and moved on to the other system while we dealt with the invasion. Once they came back to the 1st system, not only did they rebuild it, but they took the time to determine how the pests were getting in and resolved that problem. We now have two new systems, providing much better heating and air service than we have ever experienced. Our fuel and electric bills have decreased dramatically and I think we are good for another 20+ years. I can't say enough really, we've had a ton of contractors working on restoration projects in our home. Scott and team are true craftsman, no bs! Simply some of the best we've had in our home! If you're looking for these services, give Scott a call. Services: Installation, HVAC duct & vent repair, Install thermostat
