This law firm just takes advantage of the defendants who have filed a case against their clients and here the client is " Velocity truck centers".
In this time of COVID 19 instead of solving the problem, they are just going in circles regarding the service of the papers. I wanted to use the sheriff to serve the papers but the sheriff who serves in the city of Whittier is not serving Civil summons due to COVID 19 and this law firm is taking advantage of it.
This repair facility is a looter and a highway robber. I would not recommend going over this place. Their formal registered name is "Los Angeles Truck Centers LLC". I went at this repair facility on 04/03/2020 to get my truck repaired, they said it will take them two days to repair it, when I went on 04/05/2020 they charged me $268.89 and when I checked my truck nothing was repaired. I went there for the repair of Arm windshield wiper, but it was not fixed. So they just ransacked my money from me( Please see the receipts attached), after that I went to another repair facility "Walter's truck repair" and they were able to fix the arm windshield wiper of the truck for $249.04( see the receipts).
After that I called velocity truck center to address my concern and they were using profanity and vulgur language on the phone, so it was out of question for me to expect money back from them.
Later I filed a lawsuit on 04/20/2020 against them and they hired a law firm "The Vanderpool Law Firm--Business and Civil Trial Attorneys". An attorney with the name of "
Heather A. Tovar" contacted me on 04/28/2020 and said to take the case back citing weird reasons which doesn't make any sense.
And later just started going back and forth regarding the service of the court papers to the "Agent for service" Bryan Kobus, making a mockery of the whole case I have filed. So instead of solving the problem this "Los Angeles Truck Centers LLC" and the law firm " The Vanderpool Law Firm--Business and Civil Trial Attorneys" are just using legal loopholes to harass and drag the matter instead of solving the problem and giving my money back( Please see the pictures).
Stay away from this place. They are just sitting over there to take advantage of your situation and grab your money, and not providing you a service.
