Had an extremely tight window to get an inspection done. Booked an appointment with Devin Swift and he no called-no showed on the appointment. He gave me an excuse that his phone got ran over by a car. Inexcusable. Will not use again.

Marc is simply AMAZING!!! Why? Because he knows his stuff, he's super honest, professional, will spend time to listen andand will look out for YOU!
Being a first time homeowner is always nerve wrecking not knowing where to start or what to look for. I came across Marc on Yelp while looking for an inspector in Santa Clarita for a home we were looking to purchase.
When I reached out, he was super prompt in responding and spending a good amount of time with me over the phone and txt answering all my questions, telling me things I should look out for, permits etc. He takes the time to listen, understand and tell you how it is!
He completed the inspection of the home we were looking to purchase and was super honest and blunt with us about his findings (which have helped us to make the right decision). You know he's knowledgeable about this stuff and knows what he's talking about so if you need an expert, look no further! Besides that he's super cool and friendly making it easy to talk to him about anything! Also, not to mention, he spent a good hour with us outside in the heat answering all our questions after completing a 3hr inspection, this definitely goes to show that he cares and takes time to look into and go over all the detail you deserve.
We're so lucky to have met Marc and have him as our inspector and 100% suggest you look no further. Thank you again Marc for your awesomeness!!!
We just used Marc and Mazza Services for a 2nd time on a home we have now purchased. Marc and his wife Michelle are such good people! Marc Mazza has exceeded our expectations when it comes to home inspections. He uses thermal tools that discover things not clearly seen by a simple glance. We have worked with other home inspectors and none have been as detailed, thorough, and honest as Marc has been. Not only is the inspection thorough, his report helps you fully understand what item is not to code. He will also help you prioritize the items if you’d want to fix any findings. We have used Marc and his services more than once and will continue to do as whenever needed.

II was recently looking for a home inspector on Yelp. I made several phone calls before calling Mazza Inspection Group. What I noticed immediately about Mark, the owner, was that he actually explained “the why” related to what he would inspect in your home, which helped to inform me on what needed to be inspected. Every company I called prior to Mazza Inspection Group only said that they would inspect X,Y, and Z, but Mark was the ONLY person to take the time to explain why he would inspect X,Y, and Z. Also, he was the only one who told me to make sure with the real estate broker that the water and electricity would be on on the day of the inspection. Also, he was the only one who told me to call around to other inspectors and see what they say about conducting inspections. Mark explained that he is very thorough when conducting house inspections because he has your best interest at heart.
He understands that buying a home is the single most expensive purchase a person will make and they should know what they are buying. I spoke to Mark on the phone for 30 minutes during that initial conversation and I knew that he was the person that I could trust. I actually said “You’re the guy I would like to work with on this inspection.” If you’re buying a home and need a home inspection as part of the escrow process, you can trust Mazza because they care about the client. For example, a few hours after the inspection was done, Mark even sent me a text later that evening with additional information from the home inspection. And this was done on his OWN time. I HIGHLY recommend Mazza Inspection Group and would use them again down the road.

If you needed one word to describe Marc it is THOROUGH! I contacted him to inspect a property I'm buying. He checks everything. Marc is very knowledgeable, explains to you any problems he finds, what the causes could be and how to fix them. His inspection will help you make a confident purchase. I like that he responds to you quickly and sends over the inspection report shortly after the inspection is completed. Great service all around. When you’re making a big purchase it’s great to work with someone like Marc who is professional and courteous. I would highly recommend him to everyone.
