        This will never be a "5 Star" hotel, but I stayed here for a month while working on a project nearby and the price, quality, and location could not be beat by other hotels in the area. The staff was amazing, fluent in both English and Spanish. The rooms were always clean and breakfast was decent. 10 minutes from the beach and 20 minutes from downtown San Diego. If you are looking for safe, quality, and affordable hotel in the San Diego area, I would highly recommend this location.
