    Simon Appliance was assigned via our home warranty plan (American Home Shield) to diagnose our broken cooktop range fan. The technician that came out was rather rude and barely spent any time assessing the problem. He said it's not repairable and said he was going to write up a report to send to AHS, but it has been 1.5+ months now. When calling Simon to ask the status, the front desk person keeps forgetting to follow up and figure out what has happened...each time talking with him is like explaining to him the situation for the very first time....waste of time! Service: Stove, cooktop & oven repair

    I have been using Simon, from Simon Appliance for around 8 years now. He has never disappointed me.  From my dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, oven and Sub Zero refrigerator--- he is always able to quickly repair. He always shows up same day --or at worst, the next day!   For the refrigerator---always SAME DAY!    Simon is the best.

    I booked Simon Appliance through my home warranty company last week to fix my broken ice maker/freezer.  Simon called later that day and scheduled to come out the next day.  He was prompt and professional, and figured out the problem quickly.  He had the parts on-hand and fixed my ice maker and freezer.  He then told me to contact him the next day if ice wasn't being made, but it was and has been working great ever since!!

    This company is unreal:  across the board complete SCAM.  They failed to respond to any text and phone inquiry after accepting service fee from my home warranty program, but would not relinquish the fee, so that I could obtain another vendor when they failed to honor the commitment. I am not referring to one or two requests--but multiple efforts to make an appt then finally..... after several attempts they make an appt then cancel after my taking off work. I requested they allow me to obtain another vendor ....still no response....finally they come out, here for 90 seconds, (yes, 90 seconds per the individual I had to PAY the second time because I couldn't take another day off for these clowns)Shocker:  they leave the washer UNRESOLVED then state it's miraculously "fixed" despite not observing the broken control panel---Don't worry it gets better....I go to use it, upon this sage advice:   not only does it (continue) to FAIL to function, this time, I am lucky enough my wet clothes are "locked" into the washer, and despite tripping breaker, it won't release. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I am planning on filing with BBB and potential litigation for bad faith.  To say I wish I had known they lacked integrity would be a vast understatement...absolutely deplorable***** and it's WHEN not IF they are go out of businessFun update: subsequent to my experience, I come to find out others I know have used them, and same scenario and are, now motivated to address continued bad faith contracts.  Allowing this to continue means not only wasted money but your time and energy which is invaluable.

    Simon was assigned by the home warranty company to find out what was the issue with our refrigerator. Initially I was satisfied with the services he provided as he came in a timely manner and replaced the compressor and I thought the issue was solved. But a few weeks later the refrigerator wasn't cooling properly again, so I had to call the home warranty company and they sent Simon for the follow up service call as the initial work order was still within 90 days which falls under warranty. After he checked the refrigerator he told me that the Freon level was low and he refilled it. He mentioned that after he replaces a refrigerator compressor, he usually goes back in a couple of weeks to check the Freon level as sometimes it gets low, he admitted he didn't do this in our case, but since he assured me he refilled the Freon on the 2nd service call, and my tenant witnessed Simon doing this, I didn't mind too much, I was glad that the refrigerator was finally working properly. But Simon submitted a fake report to the home warranty stating that he didn't find anything wrong with the refrigerator on his 2nd visit. I assume that if he would have submitted the truthful report admitting he made a mistake/omission on the first visit/work order and that the 2nd service call was directly related to the initial work order and that he had to correct it by refilling the Freon, the home warranty wouldn't have paid him the service fee for the 2nd visit as it would have been falling under the 90 days warranty. So the home warranty sent me the invoice for a service call stating that I was responsible for it since the report Simon submitted stated that he didn't find anything wrong with the refrigerator on his 2nd service visit. I initially gave Simon a 5 stars review for solving the issue in a timely manner, I didn't even updated the review to decrease the stars on my initial review after the 2nd service call when he refilled the Freon, as I understand mistakes/omissions happen, so as long as the refrigerator worked properly after the 2nd visit I still wanted Simon to have the 5 star review. But since after the 2nd visit he sent a fake report to the home warranty, I unfortunately have to update now my initial review to warn people that Simon doesn't take responsibility for his mistakes/omissions and it may cost you more money to fix again something that he worked on in the first place.
