Cafe Bunn Mi

I order the Pho special. Pretty generous for noodle which is good for hungry tummies but the sliced meat quality is different from the Vietnamese restaurants I have had more lean meat basically just sliced beef. The price for a bowl Pho is $17+ is the higher side compare to a regular Vietnamese restaurant. The Vietnamese coffee came in a small cup. It has a lot acidity not too sweet than the Vietnamese I have had. I was not able to finish the the coffee.

Had a craving for bahn mi's and wanted to check out the nearby farmer market (on sundays! It was very nice) so found this place with pretty good yelp reviews! I would say the bahn mi were just okay. I always go for the combination pork as it's a classic bahn mi but our sandwich felt dry, as if there want not enough spread. It also seemed like it was uneven portioned for veggies to meat ratio. The spring rolls also felt underwhelming in weight. I expect spring rolls to be tightly wrapped (even if it's not packed full) but instead it felt limp. The space is nice but small, and doesn't get much sunlight. Good for a quick stop and pick me up. Staff was very friendly. You bus your own tables and waters.I would probably not come back for the banh mi or spring rolls, but perhaps if I'm back in the neighborhood I may give a bowl of noodles a try!

Love the banh mi here and its the only thing you should get. Highly recommend the crispy duck sandwich. Cold cuts/special banh mi was truly awesome as well (pro tip: cold cuts on toasted bread with extra pate & aioli and its basically Vietnamese fast food heaven). Very thick filling and looks sumptuous and tastes amazing. Mojito lemonade was quite good as well. Also tried vermicelli and bo luc lac but both were subpar and I strongly advise against ordering them.
