Love this pho spot!! This place is different than most pho places. They don't give you bean sprouts to add in, and they don't have hoisin sauce on the side. BUT you need to give this place a try. The menu is pretty limited and they only have several options to choose from. I always get the special beef pho with flank and brisket. The broth is light but also very flavorful and savory. I swear I can sip on the broth all day. The thick rice noodles are so comforting to eat! I love that they add ginger to the broth to make the meal warm and filling. There's a jar of pickled garlic off to the side, and I highly recommend adding some of the garlic and vinegar into the broth. It really elevates the flavor!Service here is super friendly! Our waiter was extremely nice and funny, and he made sure we were well taken care of. Highly recommend for a great bowl of pho!!

Prices have definitely gone up a lot from when it opened. Excellent excellent food but a little on the pricey side now. Food : 5/5 | Service : 5/5 | Atmosphere : 4/5 More

I tried this place the other day for dinner and it was solid. Overall it wasn't too busy, there is street parking right up front. I ordered the Pho Tai and it was good, definitely different than a traditional pho in a sense where they had a bit of ginger in the soup and flat noodles. The only thing missing was they had no siracha or hoisin sauce on any of the tables.

I absolutely love Pho Huong Viet. I first came based on a recommendation and have been coming back weekly ever since. Easily one of the best bowls of pho (beef and chicken are incredible) and Hanoi beef stews (pictured) I've ever had. The broth is so, so delicious. You gotta try it!Thank you Chef Huong, David, and team for amazing meals and service! Also other reviews that mention finding mosquitoes in their meal are questionable. I've never seen anything in my orders other than delicious food. That, and any SF local knows that the city sprays for mosquitoes throughout the city, hence the fact we never see them :).
