UPDATE: after three complaint tickets from Sixt's own customer service, this branch has still not corrected the issue - they have not even responded. This is a rogue franchise and it does not reflect well on Sixt overall ***
Avoid at all cost. I was charged for full insurance and liability despite declining it when picking up the car, and customer service is not responding -

Worst service ever! This was the first time I booked Sixt rental car for Miami trip. The employees are no doubt very helpful. However, the company is a big time fraud as they charged me $110 for fuel which could be just about $15-20. Other companies are very considerate and understand their customer needs and issues. Also, they gave a car which had issues such as the remote key which wasnt working. When I returned, the agent mentioned that they will charge about $10-15 for the gas as it was just a little bit less than full tank. I couldnt find a gas station while coming from Miami as it was the expressway. When I contacted support for help they said I booked it via Expedia and to reach out to them. They were of no help. This will be my last booking with Sixt. Very disappointing!

Rented in LAX last week for a party of 5 with full baggage. Booked via Priceline for a BWM X5 or Escalade, both full-size SUV"s with third-row seating. When we arrived we were told we had an X3 or another smaller SUV, neither of which would accommodate our party. The agent told us that it was Priceline fault because the listing was wrong. This is untrue, as these agencies only sell what inventory is allocated to them from the rental company. (I'm in the hotel business, I know how 3rd party OTA's work).
We ended up using a costly ride sharing app for those who did not fit in the mini-SUV. The total ride-sharing expense was nearly as much as the rental. Priceline would not offer any solution or compensation except 10% off the next rental.
Nothing like getting cheated by the old bait and switch. I'll never use Priceline or Sixth again. It is shameful these companies get away with this type of dishonest behavior.

Never use this rental car company. This company is a complete fraud. I rented a car and returned it in the exact same condition that I took it out of the garage in. No one walked around the car with me when I rented it and no one walked around the car with me when I returned it. I am an optimist and was nave and did not take a video of the car myself. I will not make that mistake again. A week after I returned the car they sent me a letter stating that I had damaged the car and were charging me $448. At no time did we ever damage the car and the damage that they claimed that we did we absolutely did not do and was not there when I turn the car in. I have tried to call and email and have gotten absolutely no response. I asked for time and date stamped photos and was not provided with any proof and it was me. Now they say they will send me to collections if I do not pay their damage cost. Sine I do not want to ruin my credit score and ruin parts of my life I have no choice but to pay, which is what they want. This company is greedy and fraudulent and they are the worst people that you could do business with. I did some digging and this is a VERY common trick that they do to renters all of the time. NEVER EVER RENT FROM THEM.
