You can’t judge a place when it’s the last house on the block and you got no where else to go. You definitely can’t change the rules of somebody else’s house your living in as well. They will provide you with a safe place with positive people to help you with what you need, not what you want, if you want it bad enough

This is a working program and when you get there from day 2 they will bust your behind! They care about work therapy 😎. Be careful if you need to rest and catch up with your thoughts. Because if you do. You will pay! After a 9hr work day. They said "remember that rest day you took?" I said "yes" they said "Good, because you and these other 2 guys are about to strip and wax the whole kitchen floor " Not saying it's a bad place. Just get ready to work.

Think twice before coming here. There's a few things to know if you go here. It's a working program so get ready to work 40+ hours a week. . . For no pay and more work when they see fit. Second it's a Christian based program and they don't allow you to practice anything else. You go to chapel twice a week. But here's the thing the force it down your throat but they don't follow what the bible itself teaches... The men's house itself is dated. The carpets are all messed up and coming up. The lockers are falling apart. The bed I had was holding on for dear life. The kitchen doesn't have access to its own janitors closet. Well at least not the sink. I was there for almost 5 months and they kicked me out over some petty b.s. the program director had been looking for any tiny reason to make my life hell, i wanted to use countless times over how she was. The only plus to the program is the resident manager. He tries his hardest to Inspire you to complete the program. To break the bondage of addiction. To bring "awareness". And if anything to "remember" what our addiction was really like. Thanks to him I kept myself sober for 4 almost 5 months of enduring hell. Im still sober and will continue on this path thanks to his devotion and his talks.
