Fantastic Korean culinary experience in a casual, strip mall restaurant. The restaurant stayed busy throughout our lunch. The side dishes are plentiful and delicious complements to the main dishes and were continually restocked during the meal. The table of six explored a range of dishes, including Bulgogi, LA Galbi, one of the soups, and the Spicy Braised Ox Tail and Short Rib in Stone Pot. The Ox Tail and Short Rib dish was a sizeable portion and was shared between two people. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Definitely a great spot to hit up as a group or smaller party for traditional Korean cuisine. Parking: Ample parking available in the strip-mall parking lot

Working in San Diego and the cold spell turns me into an old Korean man who only wants fresh kimchi and boiling hot soup. Woomiok had that and more. Good chapchae, spicy octopus, and fish cake banchan. And the spicy beef gookbap... Heaven in a bowl. Wishing for warmer weather but this bowl of soup makes everything all better.

Food, service, and ambiance was top tier. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants! All the food options are great and you can't go wrong with any of them!
