In 36 sessions my sleep improved, anxiety is gone, no depressive symptoms and my memory has improved. Now that treatment is complete my brain seems to be still improving and my memory for specific details is getting better every day. Very enjoyable, pain-free process with kind, caring technicians named Anna and Christian. The technicians are very nice to you and so comforting, flat screen tv to watch, bottled water, stimulating netflix shows... the hour I spent at TMS quickly became the most relaxing and favorite hour of my day. A+ recommend TMS to anybody suffering from depression or anxiety. - Ryan

Having just completed 36 sessions of TMS for OCD at Greenbrook, I STRONGLY recommend being treated here. Here are some of the key reasons why:
1) They use the BrainsWay Deep TMS system, the most advanced TMS system on the market that gives the best chance of treatment success. In addition to depression, this system also has the capability to treat OCD because of its ability to reach deeper brain regions than the standard surface TMS. They also use the Nexstim TMS system for depression, the most advanced traditional TMS system because it includes neuronavigation for precise targeting. Other places go with lesser (cheaper) TMS systems because they cost the provider less, but as a patient you want the best. It reflects well on Greenbrook that they don't cut corners and they go with the best systems on the market, even though very few patients realize the difference before they seek treatment.
2) Their insurance department is lead by Breanna who is extremely competent and experienced. The insurance authorization process was a breeze. This is a distinct advantage of Greenbrook over smaller providers who handle far less insurance submissions.
3) The center is lead by Dr. Manish Sheth, a genuine expert in the field of TMS and just an incredibly good person. He was a contributing author on the most recent peer-reviewed study of the efficacy of Deep TMS for OCD and has a tremendous amount of experience in treating patients, including for OCD which is not as common. He was recommended to me by the chair of the department of psychiatry at UCSD, who is himself one of the world's foremost experts in TMS. I also always got the feeling that while this is a business, Dr. Sheth is truly motivated by his desire to help patients and not by maximizing profit. He TRULY cares. There was one issue during treatment that I brought up with him and his response was fantastic and demonstrated how much he strives to get the best possible outcomes for his patients.
4) My TMS technician, Christian, was just unbelievable. He was trained properly, is experienced, knew exactly what he was doing throughout, takes his job so seriously, and it was really uplifting just to see him every day because he genuinely cares and is such a nice person. He put up with all of my idiosyncrasies and always made me feel valued. This guy is an absolute STAR. As the TMS technician is the one actually delivering treatment on a day-to-day basis, this is a really important factor to consider.
I had an absolutely fantastic treatment outcome at Greenbrook. My level of improvement was far beyond what I could have expected and my outlook on life has changed dramatically. I wake up every day now feeling that this is the greatest moment of my life. While I am glad to be done with treatment, I will also genuinely miss coming in to Greenbrook and seeing the familiar faces. I owe everything to this place and couldn't recommend it any more highly. This is THE PLACE to go for TMS in San Diego.

I would like to extend my since thanks to the Greenbrook TMS team for all of their care, concern, and tailored treatment provided to me. From the first time meeting Dr. Sheth, I could feel his compassion for my situation.
I am an anomaly in the world of medicine. I have negative reactions to most every medication and have extreme sensitivities to nearly everything in our world. As I began treatment, these sensitivities presented themselves and Dr. Sheth and the Greenbrook team worked to find the perfect treatment threshold for me. My treatment with the Nexstim device worked best, because in my opinion, it allowed for the best accuracy and precision in tailoring my treatment (36 total treatments). Dr. Sheth was very patient with my treatment and care. His talents as a practitioner are exceptional. He is a good listener, communicator, and has nearly two decades of experience with TMS treatment. As a patient you can feel his care and what is best for his patients.
The technicians are the people you meet with daily, so they are a critical part of this practice. Christian and Anna were my main points of contact for my daily treatment (Jessica also). They are an amazing compliment to Dr. Sheth’s practice. They are organized, detail oriented, kind, caring, concerned, and a joy to meet with. Over the span of two months of daily contact I grew to respect and adore them.
TMS has saved my life! Without exaggeration, I've gone from being in tears every day for close to two years (and not knowing how I could get through the day) to being surprised to catch a smile on my face in the mirror. I am much happier and wanting to do things that used I used to enjoy like, going to the zoo, shopping, visiting Sea Port Village and traveling.
I've risen from the darkness and I have Dr. Sheth and the Greenbrook team to thank.
