we hired these guys to move our many large pieces of furniture out of our three bedroom second floor apartment in UH with a very steep staircase leading to a 90 degree turn entry way. They were very careful in their protective wrapping and moved the furniture out with (what appeared to me to be) ease. Nothing broken, nothing damaged, everything brought into our new place safe and sound. The movers were professional, friendly, and communicative throughout the entire process. We would hire them again in a heartbeat if (when?) we move again. You will get your money worth.

Our experience with Marathon Moving Company was excellent. Antonio came out and assessed our house to give an accurate estimate for our move. They provided a competitive estimate. I appreciated their attention to detail. They arranged to come a day early to help us pack our kitchen and some other rooms and they were prompt and attentive to details. They really took care of the items that they packed. They prepared everything for a smooth move. On the day of the move, they were prompt, courteous, worked hard, and did a great job. They were organized and coordinated their whole team to make a smooth move. We had a huge amount of stuff, yet they were able to efficiently move everything over. They took care to put down floor protectors. Our movers were Antonio, Derek, Alberto, Carlos, and Jorge.

Derek and his team were amazing. They came recommended by a family member and did not disappoint. They were quick and extremely efficient. Did not waste a minute, which I appreciated since they charge by the hour. They had me moved out and in my new house within an hour and a half. All while being very conscious of my items. An added plus was that they took apart & reassembled my daughters bed, with no extra fees. I would definitely recommend.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE-- THEY UNPACKED BOXES WHICH ALREADY HAD THE CONTENTS SECURELY WRAPPED AND THE ORIGINAL PACKING TAPE WHICH WAS USED TO PACK THESE BOXES HAD BEEN SOMEWHAT RE-TAPED WITH THE BROWN TAPE THE MOVERS BROUGHT. THE ONE DAY THEY CAME TO "pack" I ASSUMED THEY WOULD TAKE CARE AND PACK ANY GLASS AND FRAGILE ITEMS ------WELL THEY DID NOT THEY JUST THREW MY BELONGINGS IN THEIR BOXES AND SOMEWHAT TAPED THEM AGAIN THE BROWN TAPE. i HAD TAPED UP MY LIBRARY THEY UNSEALED MY LIBRARY AND TOOK BOOKS OUT AND PUT THE BOOKS IN WITH FOOD ITEMS FROM MY PANTRY AND AGAIN RESEALED IT WITH THE BROWN TAPE derek MADE A SCARY AND CREEPY DRAWING ON ONE OF THE BOXES AND PLACED IT IN THE BEDROOM FACING THE BED--he COMMENTED THAT I HAD TO MUCH CANNED FOOD; ALSO he COMMENTED THAT I HAD TO MUCH FURNITURE AND THAT IF IT WERE him, he WOULD HAVE SOLD THIS SHIT AND BOUGHT NEW STUFF.robert CONSTANTLY KEPT ASKING ME FOR A GRATUITY AND EACH TIME I TOLD HIM NO. THERE WERE NASTY MESSAGES WRITTEN IN SOME OF THE BOXES.I WAS EVEN CHARGED FOR THEIR EMPTY BOXES AND 2 PLASTIC MATTRESS COVERS -----WELL THEY ONLY MOVED ONE BED AND THE FACTORY PLASTIC IS STILL ON THE MATTRESS MY SON IS SEVERELY DISABLED;; AND THE BOX-SPRING IS WELDED TO THE FRAME. robert KEPT PLUGGING UP his PHONE IN MY HOME WITHOUT MY PERMISSION AND WHEN I KEPT UNPLUGGING IT he SAID THE ONE IN THE TRUCK WAS NOT WORKING AND THAT he WAS TALKING TO his baby. WHILE DOING SOME PACKING-------BUT he WAS NOT BEING PAID TO TALK TO his baby WHILE SUPPOSEDLY DOING A JOB.!! robert COMPLAINED ABOUT THE WATER COMPANY SHUTTING THE WATER OFF AT THE OLD HOUSE---he HAD TO USE THE BATHROOM. I TOLD him I AM NO LONGER LIVING HERE AND IT IS NORMAL FOR SERVICES TO BE DISCONNECTED. THE DAY WE MOVED IT WAS RAINING AND THEY LEFT FURNITURE OUT GETTING WET.!! AT NEW HOUSE DOORWAYS ARE GOUGED AND THE HOUSE HAD JUST BEEN COMPLETELY PAINTED.derek DROPPED MY LEAFED UN WRAPPED ( WHICH I WAS TOLD BY robert WOULD BE WRAPPED WITH THE SHRINK WRAP) DINING TABLE, SAYING his RIGHT ARM WAS HURTING. IT IS MY VERY STRONG BELIEF THAT BECAUSE I CONSTANTLY REFUSED TO GIVE THEM THE GRATUITY THAT robert KEPT BEGGING ME FOR THAT IT WAS DECEIDED THAT THEY WOULD CHARGE ME MORE MONEY BY THE UNPACKING OF ORIGINAL BOXES AND PUTTING THE ITEMS THEY UNPACKED IN THEIR BOXES. I SECURELY PACKED ALL OF MY PICTURES -FOUND THEM UNPACKED AND ALL PICTURES REMOVED FROM FRAMES. BROKE MY SPECIAL NEEDS SON BOOK HOLDER----IT IS CALLED THE ROBERTS BOOKHOLDER---THEY JUST DID AWFUL AND UGLY THINGS TO OUR BELOGINS. MEMORIAL PLATE OF MY DECEASED PARENTS HAVE NOT BEEN FOUND, BUT I HAVE THE HOLDER FOR THE PLATE. HAVE TAX RETURNS FOR THE YEARS 2016-2018 CANNOT FIND YEARS 2019/2020.LIVINGROOM TABLE NOT SHRINK WRAPPED GOUGED, VERY NOTICIABLE. AT THE NEW HOUSE ONE OF THEM PISSED AROUND THE BOTTOM OF THE TOILET. THEY USED AN ENTERPRISE RENTAL TRUCK TO MOVE OUR THINGS, NOT EVEN ONE OF THEIR TRUCKS. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF FROM DISAPPOINTMENT, HURT, DISGUST, AND THE LIES THAT THIS company marathon movers WILL BRING INTO YOUR LIFE----------DO NOT USE THEM, AGAIN I SAY EXPRESSLY DO NOT USE THEM UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR THINGS BROKEN UP LIKE THEY DID OUR BELONGINGS AND THE BAIT AND SWITCH THEY PERFORM WITH YOUR THINGS IF YOU DO NOT GIVE THEM A GRATUITY. ANTONIO TALKS A "GOOD GAME", AND THEN THE MINIONS TAKE OVER. I FOUND THIS company, marathon movers on mira mar rd. TO BE VERY VERY DISHONEST.ZERO ZERO ZERO STARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!GAVE THEM ONE , THEY DO NOT DESERVE THAT-----JUST TO SUBMIT THIS REVIEW.
