After having absolutely nightmarish experiences with two of their competitors, I was so pleased to have a perfectly executed move from Gorilla Movers. Olivia, who handled communication and billing, was so professional and easy to work with, and the three movers who showed up (Alex, Arthur, and one whose name unfortunately eludes me) were some of the friendliest people I've ever worked with and they did such an amazing job. Some of the furniture they moved has been in my family for over 100 years and is irreplaceable (and was very expensive: equivalent to $8000 per piece in today's money) and even without knowing this they were extremely careful with it. Nothing was damaged, which is rare for a move, and the entire process was finished about 15 minutes ahead of schedule despite them working on the hottest day of the month during a heatwave, on a Sunday, and carrying things up 3 flights of stairs. So, so impressive. Thank you for saving me at the last minute when the other two businesses that were a no call, no show almost cost me my job and an additional month's rent at my last place, which I simply wouldn't have been able to afford. If any or all four of you wants a drink on me sometime, you've got my number. I can't thank you enough.
