Comfort Inn San Diego Old Town

You gotta pay to park. Curtains don't close and our window was next to a sidewalk/main road. Room stank of smoke. Pool was out of order. Hot breakfast wasn't being served during our stay but no discount.. I will say the staff were friendly and helpful.. however overall the experience felt overpriced for what was on offer.

Im just not understanding the 5 star reviews this hotel has. The rooms are disgusting - dirty, the tub didnt drain and the paint was all peeled off, the toilet was dirty, the elevator looked like they havent been cleaned in months. We even had to change from the first room because the AC wasnt working. Clearly, management is doing the minimum to maintain the hotel. To top it all off, when we got our breakfast bag, the two bagels we received had mold! MOLD! Completely unacceptable. I understand this is a comfort inn but for over $150 a night, this is ridiculous

If your in the san Diego are and looking for a economical place to stay . Comfort in is the place . The rooms are clean and spacious the employees are wonderful. And your right in the middle of downtown san Diego and SeaWorld.
