I’m one of those people that went years without going to the dentist and then the longer I stayed away, the more anxiety I would get about going. I ended my dry spell before moving to San Diego, and had a pretty okay experience, but when I moved to San Diego I got all the same anxieties about finding a dentist all over again. I’m so glad I found this office. Dr. Murillo and her team are fantastic. Professional, thorough, gentle, kind, compassionate, the whole package. Everyone there is wonderful. Dr. Murillo pointed out things that the last dentist never noticed (like how I clench my jaw so much that I’m building muscle in my mouth. She fitted me with a mouth guard, which also solves my problem of my teeth moving after braces since I ignored the retainer...). When I had to get my first cavity filled I totally freaked. Dr. Murillo talked me through the whole thing, every noise I would hear, how long it would last, etc. I got really panicky after the anesthesia shot and actually started crying even though I’m a grown woman and she couldn’t have been sweeter or more understanding about it. I’m at the point now where I’m there every 6 months for a cleaning and feel so relaxed about it, something I never thought would happen. I couldn’t recommend this office enough, you will not regret coming here.

Everybody that works here is amazing down to the receptionist ! I always had bad experiences with dentist since I was younger, which made me afraid of dentist. That fear was completely taken away with this doctor. Shes amazing!
