Very helpful in achieving a much needed root canal. Support staff was second to none. Care was empathetic and professional. Attention to pricing was thorough and they personally contacted my insurance. Dr. Fedor did an awesome job on my crown and Dr. Changs attention to detail with my root canal was relieving and inspired confidence.

I've been coming to this office for a few years, and everyone has always been helpful and nice. I have had a few different dentists over time, and all were good. But I have to say my current primary, Dr. Hobbs is the best. Deft hands and a good chair-side manner.

It seems like they've been having staffing issues lately. My dentist cleaning follow up was scheduled 6 months ago. 1 week before my appointment, I was called and told that the dentist I had an appointment with is no longer there and they only have openings with the current dentist starting 2.5 months later. They said I can still come in for a cleaning with the hygienist on the scheduled date, but asked if I could move my appointment up by 30 minutes. I said that's fine. On the day of my appointment, I arrived 10 minutes before my time, but heard the staff say they're running behind schedule. I was called inside to sit in the dental chair and fitted with a bib and shades. Then I was notified that they're running a little behind schedule and it'll be 15 minutes before the hygienist can do my cleaning. It ended up being 40 minutes. To help with the wait, they offered me water and did the dental polish before the dental cleaning. Staff skill during the procedures has always been great! Very gentle and thorough work. But overall I wish my appointment hadn't been pushed up by 30 min just to have it start 40 min later. I'm sad to say I might need to find another office. I've been going out of the way to come here due to Saturday appointments (which they no longer have) and convenient scheduling (after this visit, no longer the case). The staff's skill is very good and I've experienced the least pain here, but I don't think it's worth the distance and time for me anymore.

I was with this Dental office for almost two years and although I had a great experience with the Dental assistants and even the Dentist. My experience with the front desk with Dale has not been a positive experience that I had to leave the office. Dale is dismissive and put no efforts in helping the patients. On more than one occasion I called to ask for assistance on appointments, and finding an orthodontist. The type of responses I got from Dale was dismissive for example "our office doesn't do that" or "our office can't see that" short answers and reluctant to provide more information. As opposed to finding ways to give the patient the best experience, especially when I'm new to Dental procedures and how different office work. I have now worked with other Dental Office's and I see the difference in going above an beyond to ensure that the patient experience is a positive one. Serra Mesa Modern Dentistry has not provided this for me and the Office Manager did not make me feel as my complaint was taken seriously. I left very unhappy and unsatisfied with the services your office has provided, and this could have been different. As you can tell by the response below they think that by responding with here call us, to my review it's going to put a bandaid on it. Clearly it's just to a plot address they're bad reviews. I won't be contacting your office, as office Manager Arturo shows the same lack of accountability and follow up as Dale.
