California Coast Credit Union Kearny Mesa Branch

This review is in regards to the auto loan/title department. Customer support is terrible. I've been unable to get support in addressing a discrepency on my truck's title. I spoke to somone (Ms. Johnston) there over a month ago, followed up right away with the items they requested and have recieved zero response after multiple attempts to reach them. I would not suggest financing through CCCU as they are incapable of supporting their customers.

This review refers to their mortgage application process. Hands down the most opaque, obtuse process of any credit union I applied to. They advertised good interest rates, but good luck getting a proper response to an application. Was told they only look at applications once every ten days!

I would do no stars if possible. This bank is extremely difficult to work with. They hide your loan info and you have to wait 15 minutes to speak with someone on a non-busy day. I spoke with James then transferred to supervisor of the Call center named Damon, not only did they not help me but told me I needed to call back later AND would have to await 15 -20 minutes again. They are NOT helpful and I would NOT recommend them.

Very friendly employees providing fast, efficient service. Even during the COVID-19 restrictions, I was greeted with smile eyes and the lines moved very fast. I have never had an issue with this branch. The only room for improvement would be if this branch was also open on Saturdays.

Two stars.. I called in the other day for some help on my account regarding a fee. I spoke to an employee by the name Patrick he seemed very rude from the start of the call with no personality and dull voice. I asked if he can help with something on my account he spoke to me as if I was a child and never gave me options. Due to the pandemic it has been very hard for the most of us, as my credit union if I call for help I would think I'd get more options from the rep I speak to not just an " okay I helped you and this will be the last time I can help, anything else today"... this just made me not want to bank here anymore knowing how much I'm not cared for as a member and seems like business is all the rep was worried about getting done rather then having empathy for members and kindness.
