Budget Car Rental

I'd go negative stars if I could. I arrived at 11:26 to see the place closed with a sign saying theyll open at 12:00. A female employee walks up and open the door, and says you can wait outside until we open back up or you can leave and come back. No mention that they will be closed anywhere. So I wait and a few others show up, and they finally open up at 12:00 exact. Cool whatever right, I'm going to get my rental and go. I walk up to the counter, she pulls my reservation and tells me they don't have my car. In fact they have no other cars except electric cars. She never called me to let me know before I had to drive out here. She also didn't tell me before asking me to wait for 30 minutes in the baking sun. She did the same for multiple other people. She wouldn't comp the other cars either.. wanted 5x the cost for the remaining cars. Total incompetence at the highest level. They need to hire more people so people can switch around and eat their lunch without stranding people outside. They need to call the reservation holders if they can't meet demand. They need to get you to another location or have cars driven to the location if they can't do the above. Screw this place and the hour they wasted from me and my family's time.

What a joke. Zero stars should he an option for places like this. A corporate location is obligated to swap a vehicle with engine lights on and issues!!!! Refused saying they had one car for 10 reservations. How is it possible to be that over sold???? Tiny lot combo with avis. Hours wrong on google maps. They are not open at 6am!!! Dont waste your time.

I would give this a negative rating on Stars if I could welcome to the s*** show this is the worst place you could ever get a truck don't ever do it really and the only people you'll speak to are in Mexico if you have any issues there is no American customer service and they will not help you they will tell you they have a truck and then they won't and it just goes downhill from there

Dropped off a rental car 17 minutes beyond the drop-off time (the Budget website states that there is a 29 minute grace period) and was charged $98 of overtime fees. The one star review is mostly because the Budget employee did not bother to mention that we were being charged extra, he just said "you're good to go" and then I got home and saw a $98 charge on my credit card bill and had to call customer service.
