I would avoid these guys at all costs. I've had nothing but issues with their "custom" built window systems since they were installed about 6 years ago. One of my hopper windows was made/manufactured with a seal trim backwards and leaked like a sieve when first installed. They cam out and fixed, but you can see a gap when the window is open, but it works.I have now had two other "crank" open type windows with the hinges sheared off. The windows are opened on occasion, but the very tiny aluminum hinge does not properly support the window.Of course Blomberg has basically shrugged their shoulders and sent parts out. First window was $1500 to fix. I'm probably gonna rip these pieces of junk out of my wall and put in something that won't break again in five years. You have been warned. I've also told my Architect he should never spec these windows again.I'd give them a zero star if I could.

Our Bloomberg windows began failing in the second year. After completing a new home build the last thing we expected or had the wherewithal to handle was the failure of half of the windows and sliders in our home. I spent three years being brushed off as the company was undergoing financial problems, and new owners had purchased the company. In the 6th year I learned that the windows we purchased had a new technique that caused major failures in the window systems. The dual glass heated up to an unsustainable temperature causing the baffles to fail and condensation began setting in. Instead of offering to fix the failed windows Bloomberg recommended local glass companies who refused to bid the job. The new owners failed to live up to the reputation as a company that knows how to build great windows and doors since 1957. We continue to live with damaged and ugly windows that should have been repaired by Bloomberg if they are be a trusted source for custom windows. We need our windows repaired and there is no support from Blomberg or anyone who will repair them. Blomberg has screwed us as they surely will you should something go wrong.
