I'm sad to write this because I liked Jeff the first time he came to replace our toilet. He worked fast and for an affordable price. Perhaps that's why he over-commits himself to the point where he is also unreliable and flaky. I will NEVER count on Jeff again! He does not keep his word. I was on a deadline to move and needed to fix a pipe and yet I postponed my timeline to accommodate Jeff's crew because I trusted him. Yet, I found myself trying to call him without ever getting a return call. He said he had some emergencies from apartment toilets overflowing. So, FOUR (4!) days (Thurs, Fri, Mon., Tues.) I scheduled for him to arrive and EVERY time he never bothered to call. When I called him yet again, he said it was another emergency with more toilets overflowing and said it's going to be another week! When I was up against my deadline, I had to scramble to find another plumber. :( I understand that emergencies arise, but hearing the same excuse for why he did not call to cancel for 4 days in a row is unacceptable. How can he be a professional if he cannot keep his commitments and does not even bother to call when something else comes up? A step in the right direction would have been for him to simply take responsibility for his mistakes and apologize. But no, then he had the *audacity* to turn it around and make it about me and my "kind of work." What is wrong with this guy? He needs counseling. That is just absolutely, completely unacceptable. I don't want him to ever come around me again.
