Fitness 19

Its not a bad gym and it doesn't have any classes or anything like that. It's just a small basic gym but it has nice equipment. The staff is kids and the gym doesn't get cleaned. I saw a water bottle left near the freewieghts for a week before someone threw it away. It's not very clean so you just have to make sure you wash your hands after you get done with your workout.

Fitness 19 is a wonderful place to workout and the people here are very nice. The gym was just remodeled and it looks wonderful!

Nice Facility, convenient to where we now live. I also have a membership at Sun Oaks and TFFC in Red Bluff. My issue: integrity. They have a lot of 'special' offers posted at the door and on the walls. The front desk staff does not seem to know exactly how they work. 4 different times, 4 different staff, 4 of the same observations. When I asked or when others asked the response was: 'Well I will need to call the owner to find out how that works... Today I saw a little old lady come in who saw the sign featuring $10 a month. Staff member was very nice to her, but he either didn't know enough about the special or was instructed to 'sell' her something else. There are special limits on these 'special' offers. That being said, $19 is a cheap fee for a gym with decent equipment. The days of the 'initiation fees' are over though. I was willing to pay it because I amortized it over time and figured why argue. I still mentor young men and have several that want to workout again. Even though Fitness 19 is the cheapest I'd rather pay more and take them to Sun Oaks. Not as good equipment. Not as much equipment. Locker room and pool are nice. It has recently changed ownership. I will sign them up at Sun Oaks because Dan Gazzigli is in charge of memberships. Always honest, always a straight shooter, and he always knows exactly what they offer and why. That is rare in today's world.
