I placed an order with Bi-State for 100 gals of propane on 1/3 and was charged $372 and told 2-3 days for delivery. A couple days ago, I called to find out where my delivery was and was told it was already delivered (which it was not). Called today 1/11 to find out where my delivery was and was told it was scheduled for the 15th! Mind you, I haven't had any heat or the ability to cook this whole time. I was so livid, I cancelled my order and called another local company (Affordable Propane) who only charged me $202 and DELIVERED WITHIN 2 HOURS!!! The guy even came in and lit the pilot light on the furnace for me (since it was full of black widows lol). What kind of company charges existing customers almost twice what they charge a new customer??? How in the hell do they keep any business at all? And when my dad called them to get a refund of his $372, they told him it would take a few days to process (even though it only took two seconds to collect). SCREW BISTATE!!! And if you live in the Yerington area of Nevada, I highly recommend Affordable Propane.

I requested Bi-State remove their tank from a new property I just purchased. Had multiple issue with them at my Reno, property and wanted nothing to do with them.. They said they would after the owner closed his account , which he did. They sent a crew to the property and locked out the tank yesterday and did not pick it up . I called and asked them why they did no take their tank and they said they were waiting to see if I was going to use them. I made it clear I was not several days in advance I was not . Now they claim it could take up to 4 weeks before they got around to picking it up because they had other thing to do first. This is one of many reasons they continue to loose customers to their other propane suppliers. They charge extra hazmat fees, delivery fees, just to name a couple the other companies do not. Can not stand these people. They charged my credit card twice on my Reno account , over $600 and joked about it. It was a good think I had it in my account.
