The Fix On El Paseo

On a sunny Saturday morning, the wait was 10-15 minutes, a blink in the area. The wait for service was much longer, due to apparent confusion among the staff. Once orders were placed, coffee was promptly served, expedited breakfast was in no hurry. The omelette, hash browns, and toast were okay. The Swiss cheese was sliced, not shredded and melted. The outdoor seating is nice, comfortable, overhead umbrellas Accommodating for diners, with or without their erstwhile canine companions. Bon appetite, when it arrives. Wheelchair accessibility: Outside dining, smaller chairs would be best.

We got caught in the rain and all the others were 1 hour long. They saw us and sat us right down. The food was excellent and service great.

Move over Palm Springs, Palm Desert is the place to be! El Paseo is the Rodeo Drive of Palm Desert and the restaurant choices and food quality really speaks to that level of service. The Fix on El Paseo is beautiful, with live music, amazing cocktails, and delicious food. The patio has plenty of shade or portable heaters, and there's cute flowers hanging in the planters around the patio. During this visit, I enjoyed the ahi tartare with chips and the wedge salad. I paired everything with an espresso martini that was so tasty. Service was phenomenal and I would highly recommend saving room for dessert!
